Mini Mania

Local Mini owners have come flocking to ME16 Car Care over the last couple of weeks and I've had great fun working on these cars in the recent nice weather!

Many of the cars that I have detailed recently have one thing in common .... they have been covered in insect poo (as can be seen above!). The safest way to remove this, as well as tar and road grime, is with the use of specialised fallout removers.

The cars were in varying states of 'dirtiness' ...

As usual each of the Minis had a good blasting of snow foam to help loosen and remove as much dirt as possible before any physical contact ...

I've found that Minis often have very soft paint and therefore need to be treated with extra TLC to avoid adding any scratches or swirls to the clearcoat during the hand wash and drying stages.

All of the Minis were given a coat of Koch Chemie FSE which provides a temporary glossy protective coating and help to maintain the bodywork.

Minitastic!!!

Happy detailing - Dave
